The GRILLON Adjustable lanyard for work positioning with HOOK.
The ability to precisely adjust the length of the lanyard allows the user to position him/herself comfortably depending on the configuration of the work station.
The lanyard can be adapted to address different situations encountered in the field and is an ideal adjustable lanyard for building work stations.
New features make the GRILLON lanyard so versatile:
- All GRILLON models are equipped with a handle
- Removable protective sheath protects the rope from abrasive contact and favors smooth rope glide. (The protection can be removed when the single lanyard technique is used, to bring the user closer to the anchor)
- GRILLON lanyards can be used to create adjustable anchors or horizontal lifelines
- Use the GRILLON in double or single modes
- Double mode, on the harness lateral attachment points, to distribute the weight on the belt (user has weight on his feet): length is adjusted by pressing on the pivoting cam)
- Single mode on the harness ventral attachment point, to distribute weight between the waistbelt and the leg loops (user is suspended): length is adjusted by operating the handle while holding the free end of the lanyard
- For Shorter horizontal life lines the Grillon acts as load limiter
- Sewn eye on one end with the HOOK on the other
All GRILLON adjustable lanyards must be used with a fall arrest system.
We recommend the Petzl AM'D TRIACT for use to connect on the Grillon end.
The Grillons are now equipped with a handle, much like the Gri-Gri, allowing the user to release the braking system more easily when the system is loaded
