F4 PED descender for saleThe rope is easily pre-rigged by threading the rope through the holes (as shown) for fast deployment , the rope also passes through the release handle, which when squeezed releases the rope to allow easy horizontal movement or descent. At the window, because it is auto-locking, a firefighter can employ a hands-free bailout.
****IMPORTANT: During rappel, the F4 must be used with both hands. The brake hand controls the speed of descent.
