Compact Composit 125 & 140cm poles employ lightweight and easy-to-use external Power Lock mechanisms to provide a secure lock between the upper and lower pole sections. This system simplifies length adjustments and lends sturdiness and stability to Compact Composit 125 poles. Convenient features all-year round, external locks really show their value in winter. Rather than requiring the dexterity for micro-adjustments of internally-locking poles, Compact Composit 125 poles can be manipulated without any need to remove gloves, eliminating the risk of exposure to snow, wind and cold.

Contoured EVA foam grips lend Compact Composit 125 & 140cm poles an ergonomic, comfortable handhold. Further enhancing winter performance, textured grip zones beneath the foam grips offer glove-friendly, secondary contact points that allow you to adjust where you grasp the poles and eliminate the need to shorten or extend poles each time you encounter a steep slope. Integrated straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.

Tungsten/Carbide tips provide traction on unimproved surfaces and protect the shafts of the poles from structural damage by flexing if and when poles get stuck between rocks or in cracks. Both standard and winter baskets are included with each pair of Compact Composit 125 & 140cm poles, providing versatility for use in varied conditions.
